Parasuramkunda is situated in the lower reaches to the river Lohit. It is a religious place visited by people from all over the country during the Makar Sankranti day for a holy dip. Common belief of the people is that a dip on the day in the kund washes away one's sins. As recorded in the Kalika Purana that it was here the sage Parasuram washed away his sin of matricide. The Nearest Airport is Tezu (20 km) served by Vayudoot. Indian Airlines, Sahara & NEPC Airlines touch Dibrugarh (140 km) on alternate day. The Nearest Rail-head is Tinsukia (120 km). Daily bus services are also available from Tinisukia (140 km) via Namsai. Religious people, saints come to this kund on Makarsakranti which falls on the 14th January every year. The Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh extend all possible arrangement/help to those pilgrimage. |

Chongkham is a beautiful place for tourists situated on National Highway 52. The world Peace Pagoda located in a river island at Chongkham is ideal for meditation in front of Buddha statue that surrounds in inner core of the vihar. Besides this many other beautiful “Buddha-Vihar” are also located in the area. Presently Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Lohit District is also running from a rented house in the Chongkham Village. The “Tai – Khampti” museum is up coming in the campus of “Arunachal Pali Vidyapith Socity” where one can get glimpses of Tai – Khampti culture & Tradition. The Khamti Raja's Chong at Guna Nagar at Chongkham is famous for relics of Gautama Buddha. All the CHONGs and statues of Lord Buddha are made in the Thai-architectural style. There is no restriction to visit these CHONGs. |

| Glow Lake is located in Wakro circle. It is a beautiful spot with background of snow clad mountains and rich flora and fauna in and around the lake. It covers an area of about 8 Sq.Kms. at a height of about 5000 ft. above sea level. The nearest road point is near Twam village on Chongkham-Wakro road from where one has to start trekking for the lake. Owing to absence of proper road, it becomes an adventure trips to the lake. |
